Cancellation Policy

Clear terms for canceling or rescheduling services

Cancellation Overview: This policy outlines the terms for canceling or rescheduling consultations, projects, and services. Refunds, if applicable, are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

1. Free Consultation Cancellation

Our free 15-minute consultations are designed to help you understand how we can assist with your PhD journey.

We understand that schedules change. Please notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to reschedule your free consultation.

Note: Paid consultations can be rescheduled once without penalty if requested 24+ hours in advance. Subsequent rescheduling may incur a fee.

3. Project Cancellation (SOP Writing, Research Support, etc.)

You may cancel a project at any time. Refunds are calculated based on the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation.

Work completed is determined by our project management system and communicated to you upon cancellation request.

4. Subscription/Membership Cancellation

For any subscription-based services or membership plans (if applicable):

  • Cancellation Notice: 7 days written notice required
  • Prorated Refund: Refund for unused portion of subscription
  • Cancellation Effective: End of current billing cycle
  • No Partial Month Refunds: For monthly subscriptions

Currently, we do not offer subscription-based services. This section will be updated if subscriptions are introduced.

5. How to Cancel a Service

To cancel any service, please follow these steps:

Order ID, service name, and reason for cancellation

We will confirm cancellation within 24 hours

Refund Processing

Refund processed within 5-7 business days if applicable

Submit cancellation requests to: info@adpublications.org with subject line "CANCELLATION REQUEST - [Your Name] - [Order ID]"

6. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change. Here's our rescheduling policy:

  • Free Consultations: Unlimited rescheduling with 2+ hours notice
  • Paid Consultations: One free reschedule with 24+ hours notice; subsequent reschedules incur 25% fee
  • Project Deliverables: No rescheduling applicable (deliverables have fixed timelines)
  • How to Reschedule: Email us with your preferred new date/time

7. No-Show Policy

A "no-show" occurs when you do not attend a scheduled consultation or call without prior cancellation notice.

  • Free Consultation No-Show: Consultation slot forfeited; must rebook
  • Paid Consultation No-Show: No refund; session considered delivered
  • Project Meeting No-Show: May delay project timeline; rescheduling fee may apply
  • Consecutive No-Shows: May result in service termination

8. Cancellation by AD Publications

We reserve the right to cancel services under the following circumstances:

  • Client Violation: Violation of our Terms & Conditions or Code of Ethics
  • Plagiarism: Submission of plagiarized or fraudulent materials
  • Harassment: Abusive or harassing behavior toward our staff
  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay fees as agreed
  • Unavailability: No suitable expert available for your specific field

In such cases, refunds, if any, will be determined based on work completed and the nature of the violation.

9. Force Majeure Cancellations

If a service cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, technical failures, etc.), we will notify you promptly. Options include:

  • Reschedule the service at no additional cost
  • Partial refund based on work completed
  • Credit toward future services
